Solstice Madness

The most wonderful time of the year is here at Safari Anomalous! Every year we look forward to the Summer Solstice --- it's the longest day of the year, so the official start of summer beckons with BBQs, Philly water ice, and outdoor concerts in the park.

But once the solstice arrives, we also know that your preparations for the coming Haunt Season are in full swing! So while you may find us out and about on our occasional days off, we'll confess that we're spending the rest of the week in the workshop, attending to your orders. And we would not want it any other way! While this past year has seen us working on more film projects, we continue to make our highly detailed work available to haunters at all scales as you take your live attractions to the next level.

Because all of our prop, costume, and mask work is entirely designed and made here in our Philadelphia workshop, we love to discuss customizations you may desire, whether it be alternate color schemes or additional accessories to complement existing specimens, or commission work from scratch or from your design ideas.

With those goals in mind, we would like to remind you that we work on your orders on a first-paid, first-completed, first-shipped basis. We have learned from the past several years, that your orders booked by July 4th generally will be deliverable before Labor Day. As our production schedule fills up in August and September, we will typically send confirmations to anyone who has placed orders to clarify any deadline dates we need to take into consideration before we commit your pieces to production.

If you have any concerns or questions before you place an order or at any point after that, you can always contact us at info@safarianomalous.com or via our phone number shown at www.safarianomalous.com.

New Prop : Item #61 - The Nest of Snakes

We recently added a new item to the catalogue: Item #61 - The Nest of Snakes.

Snakes have certainly burrowed their way into the hearts of the Safari Anomalous expedition team. The only thing better than one snake is a big, tangled, writhing nest of them. And the only thing better than having one nest is having multiple nests, one for the bathtub, one for the garage, one for the closet in the guest bedroom, and, of course, one for the cockpit of the dirigible.

This prop is foam filled latex and measures about 3 feet in diameter. Two of the snake heads are detachable for easy shipment and storage. This prop is available for $300 plus shipping and handling charges. View more pics on the Creatures page.
